thanks burnwagon!

What an awesome week we’ve had. Last weekend with the Burn Wagon was incredible. After a tasty bbq, we hit the streets of Salem for prayer and evangelism. The Lord led some of the team members to the old city hall on Essex St. It was kind of funny because as they kept walking they always ended up back at the same building.

At first they did not know what building it was. The Lord started showing them that decrees had been made from this building that let the city down paths of unrighteousness. As they received this, the Lord started giving them prophetic declarations to speak about the future of the building and the future of Salem. This along with several salvations made for a great afternoon.

Later that evening, the Burn team led worship and ministered at the Uprising service. We had a turnout of roughly 60 people and the presence of the Lord just fell. The worship team never even played a standard song, rather moving through chord progressions with prophetic songs and intensity that was truly amazing.

As the service progressed, several words of encouragement were given, including words about the coming move of God in our city and a generation of young people finding their portion before God. As the service turned into a time of prayer it was clear that God has set up the entire night as many received prayer and an impartation of greater faith and expectancy.

Then after the service was over we stopped by a Walgreen’s to buy some frozen pizza and some team members started talking to an 18year old guy right in the parking lot. He got saved, his girlfriend got saved and two other friends came over and also received prayer. Truly an amazing night.
We just want to thank the Burn Wagon for all they did and even though the time was short, we believe that God has more in store for us as we press onto our full calling in Christ.
