So i was praying the other day and was just thinking back on the last service and the services at Gordon (reveal and respond) and i felt like God was saying that the movement of the youth in this day will be a movement not like any other movement seen before. It will be a group that rises up and decides to be real with one another with no fear of condemnation. If we really want to see the youth transformed and set free we have to be real with ourselves and realize our generation is labeled the lost generation. We have sinned and yes we have fallen short of his glory but no sin is greater than the love of Christ! The youth of this area feel dirtier than other generations and they may even look dirtier but God does not count the greatness of your sin but just that we have sinned in general and now that sin requires repentance. In Romans where is talks about not being condemned for our sins for those who WALK in the spirit and not in the flesh..yeah you know that one. Well i was absolutely confused by the word WALK in the KJV. So i prayed, God I've heard so many times we are supposed to run hard after you why when we get real does it require us to walk???? I felt real strong that God said running most often than not refers to a quick action like if you run to the store you intend to do so quickly or if you have to run and talk to your teacher because you might fail the class. Running always refers to a quick work and God said that really getting real with him is a process where you walk with him and he will reveal whats not right in your life and slowly that dirt becomes something that is used to glorify him and slowly you can start to run again. So now the question is we know we have sinned its been shown to us but how will we respond, will we run or will we walk with God and let him work on us?
