This is a blog so i am allowed to ask questions...
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This was the first service that we opened up to other youth and we are going to keep doing it until the end of the year so invite your friends. The Uprising is not a church and that means there is no pressure to do what everyone else is doing but its a safe place for believers and non believers to find God in their own way/time.
We will be starting the 24-7 prayer the third Friday night starting at 7:00. It will start with an hour of worship then scheduled people will stand on the wall praying and just resting in God.

That was an amazing night. The Lord has been really speaking to me about submission to his authority. Maybe in part because that is the book that I am reading.
But it is so awesome how the vision we read is all about submission to a heavenly authority.
Its kinda funny how the word submission and authority almost have a negative tone to them, but this is because of the fall and the prevailing individualist post modern society in which we live in.
I am being challenged to see these words as pure as they were in the garden.
The vision thing only really works in true submission to God's authority and the authorities that he has placed in our lives.
it was so refreshing to be at the uprising on saturday! there is nothing like just being able to let loose and get lost in god's presence!
i believe that god really spoke and challenged us! now we just need to walk out what he has told us to do!
